Svartälven
(Black River)
does real deserve his name. It has dark water and Pinetree covered banks. "Svartälven"
flow through a genuine moutainminearea with carrying minercarrying moutains
and with milewides of woods. The feeling if Wilderness change only by some crofter´s
holdings, villages or solitary works societies from the past. From the lakesources
high up, some miles north of Tyfors in Dalarna down to the Skagern, is the total
length längden 220km. From the start at Dalarnas provinceborder to Skaggern
is the fallheight about 140 m. The Black River have very good Qualities as Canoewater
with wildernessareas to magnificent storslagna lakes och beautyful Cultur district
of the old Minertime. There are no specific difficultis by the the view of the
tecnic to come down the river, except by big storms on the open lakes. It is
no difficult to manoeuvre your Canoe, therfor you can say it is a easy River
and persons who are not used to go by Canoe can handle it. Or a Family with
younger kids manage it too without to take a risk, a real no stressing week.
There
are even some prepaired camps for night that our community built up. Thanks
